SMITH at the DMEA 2019

Sustainably improve Clinical Research.

Under a new name and a new concept, the DMEA 2019 offered a central platform for digital health care at Messe Berlin from 9th to 11th April. The former conhIT is Europe’s largest German-language event in the field of digital health and offers a mix of trade fair, congress, training and networking events, a broad overview of current topics, products, solutions and companies of the digital supply.

In keeping with its motto “Sustainably improve Clinical Research”, the SMITH Consortium presented itself at the exhibition stands of its partners Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Technology ISST Dortmund, März Internetwork Services AG Essen and ID GmbH & Co. KGaA Berlin. As part of the sessions of the Medical Informatics Initiative Dr. Danny Ammon (Head of Data Integration Center, University Hospital Jena) and Dr. Thomas Wendt (Head of Data Integration Center, University Hospital Leipzig) gave a view to the project with first results, outlooks and next steps from SMITH.
