Interprofessional Master’s Program in Medical Data Science at RWTH Aachen enters second round

On September 14, 2021, the part-time master’s program in Medical Data Science (M.Sc.) started for the second time at RWTH Aachen University under the scientific direction of Prof.Dr. Rainer Röhrig, Director of the Institute for Medical Informatics. While students from the first cohort are already entering their third semester, the new students still have their further education at the interface of IT and medicine ahead of them. Over the course of their studies, they will acquire important methods and concepts in the field of data integration and data analysis, enabling them to play a key role in shaping progress in digital healthcare.

The program is aimed at graduates with a degree in medicine and life sciences as well as in the fields of computer science, mathematics and natural sciences. In addition, applicants must have medical informatics work experience of at least one year. The next application phase starts on December 1, 2021.
