On June 28 and 29, 2022, the 2nd SMITH Congress took place under the motto “New Solutions in Digital Health” at the dbb forum in Berlin.
The event provided an overview of the achievements and future goals of the consortium and the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). The importance of the research data infrastructure established by the MII and its impulses for digital medicine were highlighted nationally, but also in European perspective.
Over the course of the two days, more than 140 participants discussed the potentials and challenges of a sustainable networking between research and care with renowned national and international experts.
