SMITH at DMEA sparks 2020

Connecting Digital Health

The year 2020 offers a large number of challenges. With the spread of Covid19, DMEA 2020 has had to be moved to June this year. Instead of three days of exchange in the regular trade show environment, a digital format has emerged for June 16 – 18, 2020, which we would like to use as an opportunity to still exchange with you and not let communication break down.

Digitalization in healthcare is a topic of the hour, which is also increasingly driven by current events. As one of four consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, SMITH is making its very own contribution here and is geared in its work to the current challenges of digitization and the introduction of e-health measures in the healthcare sector. Our goal is the sustainable use of healthcare data in medical research and thus the improvement of diagnosis, prevention and therapy.
