Meet SMITH at DMEA 2023!

Making routine clinical data available for medical research is an essential building block for progress in medicine. Individualised therapies and even more precise diagnoses will thus be possible in the future. In addition, health data provide a basis for the development of digital technologies to optimise processes in the healthcare system and make them more efficient. In this context, the data infrastructures established by the consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative – DIFUTURE, HiGHmed, MIRACUM and SMITH – are a key driver of digitalisation in health research.

Against this background, the SMITH Consortium will also be on site at DMEA 2023 this year. From April 25th to 27 th, experts in the field of digital health will meet at Messe Berlin. The DMEA is one of Europe’s most important events in the sector and offers a wide range of opportunities to network, exchange ideas and update knowledge. We will present the project results of the development and networking phase, the goals of the current funding period and give an overview of the practical use cases.
